Photojournalist James Kokulo Fasuekoi on Bamba 1 Radio

On December 21, 2014, Liberia’s most acclaimed photojournalist, James Kokulo Fasuekoi, gave his account of the war that claimed nearly 300,000 innocent lives.

Mr. Kokulo Fasuekoi, an award winning photojournalist, joined the first post-war independent daily, The Inquirer newspaper in 1991 and began covering rebel control areas. 

He also served as stringer for the Associated Press, AFP, BBC Focus on Africa news magazine and several international magazines.  He covered the failed coup in his native Liberia, and the 1990 Kamajor-RUF bush war in Sierra Leone.
